This site has information of interest to descendants from the Martinez and Del Pozo families of Ecuador.   Specifically: descendants of Dr. Francisco X. Martinez Aguirre (1850-1917) and the descendants of the 19th Century family of Pastor and Ines Del Pozo Santos of Ecuador. Since it does not contain content of interest to the general public, it is configured so that it is not indexed by search engines like Google and Yahoo; it is only reachable by persons who know the address.

Right now this is primarily an ancestry site for a specific lineage, though it might have more generic information about Ecuador and Latin American Culture in the future.

This site is intended:

• To provide reliable information about ancestors of the two above-mentioned lineages.
• To provide information about present-day families from these lineages based primarily in South America so that English-Speaking descendants living in North America can get to know them better.
